EPDM

Mulehide EPDM

epdm roofEPDM, otherwise known as Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, is a rubber membrane that has been used in commercial roofing for decades. Introduced in the early 60’s, this synthetic rubber became an increasingly popular alternative to traditional asphalt roofs. EPDM’s popularity grew exponentially in the roofing industry due its durable UV light, puncture and weathering resistant material. EPDM rubber is tough enough to withstand the worst our Canadian climate has to throw at it. More environmentally friendly than its predecessor EPR, EPDM does not require the use of harmful peroxides to manufacture.

AllPro Roofing prides itself on using the highest quality materials on the market. Energy Star qualified, and CRRC certified, Mulehide’s range of EPDM products are eco friendly and its black colouring will harness solar energy, helping to reduce the cost of heating your building in the winter months. Also available, is a reflective EPDM membrane, that helps keep your building cool in the summer. EPDM is produced using recycled material from the car tire industry, helping to reduce its impact on our environment. One of the greatest features that EPDM has to offer is its low cost to produce, therefore its lower cost to install than other commercial roofing systems. A preventive maintenance program can keep your EPDM roof looking and performing its best.  Finally EPDM is 100% recyclable, it can be repurposed for rubber mats or used as fuel to help reduce our dependence on oil. Our Mulehide EPDM Certified technicians are committed to providing you with exceptional service to ensure your new roof is installed properly and efficiently.
